South Australian Workers Compensation Advocacy
Hi, I’m Les Birch and I’m currently a workers compensation officer for the CFMEU FFPD.
I have been actively involved in representing injured workers in workers compensation matters in South Australia since 1987.
Throughout this time I have taken a keen interest in the politics surrounding the management of the workers compensation scheme in South Australia.
I was a member of the WorkCover Corporation’s Board (representing the interests of workers) from 1987 to June 1994, and was a member of the WorkCover Corporation’s Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Committee (again representing the interests of workers) from 1997 to 2007.
